ABC YOUTH SQUAD
These sessions will provide kids with the opportunity to explore the sport of climbing and make friends with other adventurous kids. Our coaches will teach the fundamental skills of movement, technique and safety in bouldering, with a strong focus on fun!

What is the Sports Vouchers program?The Sports Vouchers program is a Government of South Australia initiative administered by the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing. The program provides an opportunity for primary school aged children from Reception to Year 7 to receive up to a $100 discount on sports or dance membership/registration fees. The purpose is to increase the number of children playing organised sport or participating in dance activities by reducing cost as a barrier.
Who is eligible for the program?All South Australian primary school aged children, meaning if the child is attending or is eligible to attend primary school (Reception to Year 7, even if Year 7 is based at a high school). Remember it is one voucher for every primary school aged child per calendar year.
ABC blue team - 5 to 10 years old - 1 WEEKLY SESSION
ABC PURPLE team - 11 to 18 years old - 1 WEEKLY SESSION
Monday session recommended for first timers.
ABC COMP team - 11 to 18 years old - 2 WEEKLY SESSION
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT FOR THE ABC COMP TEAM:
– Must be 11 years old or older (exceptions can be made if the coach sees younger climbers fit and ready, physically and psychologically, for the challenge).
– Must have done at least one full term with the Squad.
– Must be committed to improve their competition climbing abilities and committed to compete in a few local competitions each year.
